I am broadly interested in studying how behavior and movement ecology influence disease dynamics in wildlife populations. My current research focuses on identifying the drivers of parasitism in coyotes (Canis latrans) across the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and the greater Los Angeles area. Using a variety of techniques, I am working to determine which gastrointestinal parasites are present in this urban populations and how coyote diet, movement, and behavioral patterns affect the density and diversity of the parasites they carry.
