figure 3-1-2

Fig. 3-1 (above, left). The VirTis-Kavanau Cryovap, as advertised in Science. It is virtually a duplicate of my jury-rigged experimental model, except for mounting in a mobile cabinet.
Fig. 3-2 (above, right). VirTis' Duo Dryer, as advertised in Science. This is one of their previous products, with the tray drying feature of the Cryivap incorporated into it.

figure 3-4

Fig. 3-3 (above, left). The VirTis Centri-Freeze, as advertised in Science. It incorporates a mechanism for rotating the samples for uniform infrared heating and to prevent frothing while freezing.
Fig. 3-4 (above, right). The VirTis Freeze Mobile, as advertised in Science. This was a combination model, also with provisions for 'nipple drying.'

figure 3-5

Fig. 3 5. A VirTis Sublimator, as advertised in Science. This was VirTis' fully developed custom version of the VirTis-Kavanau Cryovap, incorporating all my original proposals except for an electronic vacuum gauge.. This quickly went into, and remains, in industrial state of the art use. Note the continued amateurish use of the glass McLeod vacuum gauge (for practicality).
