Marine Botany @ UCLA
Marine Botany @ UCLA
The main focus of this course is ALGAE!!
We love algae in the Fong Lab!
The course includes lectures, labs, and field trips to local beaches to learn about and identify the many species of marine algae. The whole class also goes on a camping field trip to collect and identify algae from the rocky intertidal habitat at the Kenneth S. Norris Rancho Marino Reserve near Cambria, California, part of the University of California Natural Reserve System.
